Below are the most frequently asked questions from our clients:
1. I want to translate documents. How do I proceed?
Please fill out our contact form and upload your documents. You will then receive a suitable, non-binding quote detailing the costs and delivery time according to your requirements.
Please send us the document to be translated using our online form (www.lta-translations.de/kostenvoranschlag). There you can enter all the information we need to process your enquiry quickly.
You will then immediately receive a free, no-obligation quote.
2 How much does a translation cost at LTA?
On average, we charge 59 euros per page. Please note that the actual cost of a translation may vary depending on the subject area, language direction, volume of text to be translated and the urgency of your enquiry. For this reason, our prices are not all-inclusive, but are calculated individually. For an exact quote, we require an estimate of the text volume and the nature of the text, which our employees can provide after viewing the document submitted via our contact form on the website. Please upload your documents using the online form so that we can provide you with a customised quote as quickly as possible. This offer is of course free of charge and non-binding, so you have the freedom to decide whether or not to accept it.
3. are the translations stamped and signed?
Yes. Our specialist translators are sworn and authorised translators.
We therefore also offer certified translations that are recognised by authorities and courts.
4. how long does a translation take?
The translation time varies depending on the length and complexity of the text to be translated.
On average, a translation takes 3 to 5 days, in some cases a week.
Our quotation always includes an estimate of the processing time.
In urgent cases, please indicate the urgency of your enquiry and we will do our utmost to offer you the best possible delivery time.
In the case of an urgent translation, however, an additional surcharge will apply.
5. which languages do you offer translations for?
We offer translations in over 40 languages.
LTA has a large network of qualified native speakers who translate into all major languages.
Please send us the document to be translated using our online form. There you can specify the source language and the target language.
We will send you an interesting quote as soon as possible. Our offer is free of charge and non-binding, i.e. you can accept or reject the offer.
6. in which format can I send you the document?
It is best if you send us files in an editable format (e.g. Word, PDF, Excel, PowerPoint ...).
If this is not possible, we can also translate your BILD documents.
It is important for our translators that the documents sent in are clear and legible, but additional costs will be incurred if the documents are unclear or difficult to read.
7 Who will translate my documents?
At LTA, the native speaker principle applies: your texts are always translated by professional specialist translators who translate exclusively into their native language.
8. is it possible to translate a document into several languages?
Of course!
Simply specify the desired languages in your quote request.
9. will my documents be treated confidentially?
You can send us your documents via the contact form using secure data transmission. In addition, we will conclude a confidentiality agreement with you on request, and we will always treat all documents sent to us as strictly confidential.
